A ground floor refurbishment. The failing plasterboard ceiling and wall plaster was removed exposing a remarkable slate shillot wall and pitch pine ceiling joists (originally old ships timbers from the local dockyard).


This project demonstrates that natural materials and craftsmanship can still be achieved on a budget that celebrates the rituals of bathing and cooking.
